In the beginning there was God. It is he who was and is. It is he who created everything under the sun. The earth was formless and empty. To it he added the light. He separated it from the darkness that covered the earth. And it was good. The next day he separated the waters. And the day after separated the water from the land. It was good. So then he added plants and trees which was also good. The following day, the fourth day, light was added to the design. The lights govern the seasons and the days. This was good. On the fifth day he added animals: birds of the air, fish of the sea, and he blessed them. It was good. Then on the sixth day, livestock, creatures along the ground, and wild animals. This was good, too. Then to rule over the land, God added man and created him in His image. He named him Adam, but realized he needed a helper. And so He also made Eve. He blessed them. It was good. And they lived happily ever... until....
Until there was sin. And that sin was the sound of screeching tires on the road to happily ever after.
